Building a new website is a little like giving birth. Well, it has been for me. What you see here is my second. I like it very much - it makes me very happy - I could say that I take great delight in it. Very much like my real children. Although I have no doubt this site will be more compliant and obedient than they are. Which is probably as it should be.
I have considerably more experience in the birthing process than I do the website building process, but I see many similarities. I found people to help, that know what they are doing. I like the folks at Lucid Crew , I like what they’ve created and I trust them to consider my interests foremost. All those aspects, I believe, are critical in the people you chose to support you in any creative process, especially birthing. This process has been quick and relatively painless. I didn’t need to medicate during it, and my crew were there to help me breathe when I felt overwhelmed by the steep learning curve.
Our first site was wonderful, but to update that site I needed someone who could write in some mysterious computer language. There is someone here who can do that, but he’d rather be in the workshop with his wood. So the new baby was conceived. The new design has kept the integrity of our brand. It’s clean and beautiful, sensual and light. And from a business perspective, the site has all the features I wanted to offer, without becoming complex.
I can easily add new products as we develop them and we’re delighted to be able to introduce our newest Sculptures.
Dare was primarily designed as a Butt Plug, but feels wonderful vaginally too. The ‘handle’ can face forward or back and applies a little pressure to deliciously sensitive areas.
Mesmerize is a dual ended toy. There’s no wrong way to use it. Slowly twisting this sculpture into place creates unique sensations.
And this blog, well, take it or leave it. It’s another way for us to interact. You won’t find us on other Social Media. I tried tweeting and Facebook-ing, personally and professionally, until I felt like it was so much white noise. No doubt this may be seen by some to be marketing suicide, but, for now, that’s how I roll.
So, I’m trying to keep it simple. I’ll share reviews of our products, maybe some erotica; and news about what we’re doing - sales, giveaways, that sort of thing. I quite like being the boss of the blog. I’m beginning to understand why so many people do it.
