We incorporated NobEssence in 2007 and according to some, we’re the most trusted source for wooden sextoys. That’s a reputation we take seriously and we work hard to retain it. When it comes to intimacy, we think that Trust is vital. And we certainly hope you’ll want know our Sculptures intimately.
We began this journey in 2005. Back then, The Toymaker was a hobbyist woodworker. Having grown up in a small timber town in Oregon, the sawdust was in his blood. So it was only natural that wood was the first material he went to when he conceived a design for a g-spot tool. The design hit the spot and some requests came in for him to carve special orders. We soon saw that we needed to find a way to share the joy with more folks. But if we were to use wood as a medium, we had to find a resilient and body safe coating for it. Then began two years of research and testing. The Toymaker created numerous designs and we eventually developed a coating process that met the high standards we had set for ourselves. The coating had to be bodysafe and water resistant, and what we developed had the added bonus of being bacteria resistant too.
